Invited pilot pricing

A simple plan.
Built for individual builders.

Try FlowRail with pilot credit, then subscribe when you’re ready to continue. Access is by invitation.

A small, invited pilot

Paid continuation is available to eligible invited accounts with billing addresses in the 50 states and Washington, DC. Business and personal use are both supported. New access is still arranged personally; requesting a place does not create an account or start a subscription. The first 100 distinct invitation recipients receive $5 of managed AI usage credit.

Managed

Let FlowRail handle the AI.

Opt in to usage-based billing through FlowRail. You pay $10/month plus completed AI usage, billed monthly after use. Managed usage stays off unless you enable it.

A $20 monthly AI spending cap starts by default. You can adjust it. The cap is separate from the subscription and is not a fixed charge.

Pilot scope

Managed usage for invited accounts.

Bring your own key and broader public subscriptions are not part of this paid pilot. No model-provider key is needed for Managed.

Available in the invited pilot

A head start for the first 100.

The first 100 distinct pilot invitation recipients receive $5 of managed AI usage credit. Your invitation reserves a place; accepting it with a verified email and signing in activates the credit for 30 days. No card, subscription or country confirmation is required.

Available pilot credit is used first. Paid managed usage starts only after that credit runs out or expires, with an active subscription and your explicit opt-in. Otherwise, managed AI checks pause when the remaining credit cannot cover the next check. Subscribing does not reset or extend your grant.

Your account menu and Settings → Usage & credit show the balance and expiry. Settings → Billing shows whether paid continuation is available for your account.

Joining the waitlist or requesting access does not reserve a credit place. We reserve places when invitations are sent. An account receives one grant; resending an invitation does not reset it.

The details, made clear.

How is managed AI usage charged?

Completed AI checks use actual model tokens at 1.25× the model’s public list-price token cost. The maximum charge is $1 per design review, $0.10 per file verification including custom rules, and $1 per application review. These limits apply to pilot credit and this invited paid pilot. You pay less when usage is lower, and FlowRail absorbs any excess. These are ceilings, not measured average costs or a fixed number of checks.

Does the $20 cap mean I pay $30 every month?

No. It limits paid managed AI usage to $20 per month by default, on top of the $10 subscription. For example, $6 of paid managed usage would make that month’s total $16 before any applicable taxes. New paid managed checks pause when the remaining budget cannot cover the next check.

Will I pay for failed checks or retries?

Incomplete or failed checks cost $0. A completed security check can find a vulnerability and block a write; that is still a billable result. FlowRail absorbs failed internal attempts, unverified usage and charges above the action’s ceiling. Cached results do not incur a second charge.

How do I cancel or change my payment method?

Open Manage billing in Settings → Billing to use Stripe’s billing portal. You can update your payment method, view invoices or cancel at the end of your paid period. Usage already incurred remains payable, including a final usage invoice after cancellation. Turning managed usage off does not cancel the subscription. A failed payment pauses new paid checks until payment is resolved.

Is there a free plan or subscription trial?

There is no ongoing free tier or subscription trial. The limited pilot credit lets eligible invited users try managed AI checks without a subscription. Using that credit does not automatically start a paid plan.

Do I need a separate credit activation link?

No. Accept your FlowRail invitation, verify the matching email and sign in. Credit activates on your first authenticated visit after this feature is enabled. If you accepted an eligible invitation earlier, your next visit starts the 30-day period. Reinstalling FlowRail or creating another project does not reset the credit.
